Context
Assisted analysis can reduce repetitive effort in research, assessment, and operational workflows. The benefit is limited when the result cannot be traced, reviewed, or placed in the correct technical context.
Operating constraint
Automation can produce an answer faster than a team can establish whether the answer is relevant, supported, or safe to act on. Human review is therefore part of the system, not a final cosmetic step.
Scope
The method focuses on bounded workflows with explicit inputs, inspectable outputs, evidence capture, and a named human decision point.
Method
The workflow is modeled before assistance is introduced. Routine transformations and retrieval tasks are separated from conclusions that require context. Outputs retain links to their source material, and operators review both the evidence and the proposed interpretation.
Decision model
Assistance is appropriate where it improves consistency without obscuring responsibility. The higher the consequence of an error, the more explicit the review boundary and evidence requirement must become.
Validation
Validation tests whether another operator can reproduce the reasoning path, identify the source evidence, and recognize which parts of the result were inferred rather than observed.
Current state
This is an exploratory method record. It describes a direction of practice and does not claim a deployed production system or measured performance improvement.
Tradeoffs
Additional traceability can reduce apparent speed, but it makes assisted work more reviewable. The method treats reviewability as part of quality rather than overhead.
